Welcome to Our School Ready 6 Year Program
Our six-year-old program supports children as they consolidate their learning and grow into confident, capable school-aged learners. Through structured activities, active play, and rich language experiences, children develop the academic, physical, and social foundations needed for continued school success.
What We Offer
Our program supports the developmental milestones of six-year-olds.
Language Comprehension: Children practise understanding longer instructions and responding to hypothetical questions, building strong listening and reasoning skills.
Motor Development & Coordination: Bicycle riding, refined coordination, and handwriting readiness activities prepare children physically and practically for school demands.
Mealtime Independence: Age-appropriate table manners and stable chewing and swallowing patterns are reinforced through structured, supervised mealtime routines.
Cognitive & Time Concepts: Ordering, comparing, and understanding time language such as before, after, yesterday, and tomorrow are developed through engaging daily activities.
Motor: Rides a bicycle, improved handwriting readiness, refined coordination. Climbs vertical ladder with 5+ steps confidently; Feeding: Age-appropriate table manners, fully independent with utensils, stable chewing and swallowing patterns; Cognition: Orders and compares (big-small, first-last), understands before/after, yesterday/tomorrow, can sight read 10 printed words, arrange simple patterns and sequences
